What I Do
Cule
Consent
Counselling is your space. I move at your pace and you choose what to share. Sessions are confidential within legal and ethical limits, which we review together before we begin. Limits include situations involving immediate risk of harm and specific legal requirements.
Confidentiality & Supervision
Cule Counselling currently provides care as a pre‑licensed counsellor under supervision. That means another experienced clinician supports the quality of care behind the scenes. Your identifying information is protected, and we explain how supervision works during your first session.
Your Pace
We draw from approaches like narrative therapy, solution focused-therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and CBT with a warm, trauma‑aware stance. You set the pace. We will co‑create goals and measure what matters to you.
About Hailea
(She/They)
I've been passionate about psychology and counselling since I was young, experiencing its benefits firsthand. I began working with at-risk teens and realized I wanted to help people who have faced hardship and are seeking support to build resilience. Since then, I've worked and volunteered in various helping professions—support groups, recovery and harm reduction, mental health care, education, and street outreach. I'm passionate about community service and remain committed to making counselling accessible through flexible payment options and professional volunteer work. Please reach out to see if space is available.
I’m a partner, friend, caregiver, family and community member, with lived experience of chronic health concerns and grief. I’m also a proud member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and polyamorous community.

Approach
I specialize in working with the 2SLGBTQIA+ and ethically non‑monogamous communities. I also have a special interest in working with people in relationship(s) as well as the BDSM and kink communities.

Approaches and Modalities
I tailor care using plain‑language, research-informed approaches:
ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)
Builds flexibility and values‑aligned actions, even when feelings are hard.
Narrative Therapy
Separates people from problems and helps re‑author stories with dignity.
Solution Focused Brief Therapy
Orients to what’s working, future possibilities, and next small steps.
Interpersonal Process
Uses the therapeutic relationship to understand patterns and try new ways of relating.
CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
Helps notice links between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours and try small shifts that matter.
ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention)
Structured support for facing fears gently and reducing compulsive cycles when appropriate.
Gottman‑informed work (relationship counselling)
Supports emotional safety, repair, and practical communication tools.
Gender‑affirming, sex‑positive lens
Affirming care across gender, sexuality, and relationship diversity.
