Approaches and Modalities
I tailor care using plain‑language, research‑informed approaches:
ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)
Builds flexibility and values‑aligned actions, even when feelings are hard.
Narrative Therapy
Separates people from problems and helps re‑author stories with dignity.
Solution Focused Brief Therapy
Orients to what’s working, future possibilities, and next small steps.
Interpersonal Process
Uses the therapeutic relationship to understand patterns and try new ways of relating.
CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
Helps notice links between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours and try small shifts that matter.
ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention)
Structured support for facing fears gently and reducing compulsive cycles when appropriate.
Gottman‑informed work (relationship counselling)
Supports emotional safety, repair, and practical communication tools.
Gender‑affirming, sex‑positive lens
Affirming care across gender, sexuality, and relationship diversity.

Accessibility and Accommodations
Tell me what helps you participate fully. We can adjust pace, offer breaks, and provide virtual options. If you use assistive tech or need specific sensory considerations, let me know.
